USC vs. Clemson

The last game of the season is the biggest for us all since we have a Clemson fan in the mix. The outcome wasn't the best but at least the USC fans walked out of the stadium with everybody else and not during the 3rd quarter. Still have to say...GO GAMECOCKS!!


Emily wasn't feeling good so Tonya and John decided to stay home this time. Glad to say that Emily is feeling much better. This was our tribute to the Colvilles.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. It was another great time of everybody being together.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY JAKE!

He had 2 'cakes' this year. Uncle Brian and Mallory surprised Jake with a cookie of Mickey Mouse playing football. He's favorite 2 things!
We decided to get Jake a swingset for his birthday because he loves going to the playground in the neighborhood. Well, a simple swing set turned into a clubhouse and ordering one turned into Jamie actually building one. Thanks to our awesome friends for all of the help!

Jake got a Clemson bike from Ms. Pat and another bike from Jimmy and Linda. Guess which one he rides with Mama and which one he rides with Daddy!

Clemson Basketball

Last night we went to Jake's school for Thanksgiving dinner and then made it home just in time for Clemson basketball. I'm so glad Jake loves any kind of sport because it lets me be free from entertaining for a while. Good game Tigers!

Spa Day for Bailey

Yesterday was a day at the SPA for Bailey. They said she especially liked the belly rub. I liked it too because it was called the 'free belly rub'.

On the way back from our weekend at the stadium, we stopped by the lot to get a load of sand for the playground. Jake is always excited to ride the bobcat and this time he got to do some real work! In a little over 10 years the only difference will be that he'll be getting paid to do it....loading it into the truck.

Aunt Tara will not be able to make it to Jake's birthday party due to a special birthday gift of her own so she brought along her gift to Jake. I don't have a picture of the coolest gift ever (a sweatshirt that says 'Jester Football' with a big football on it) but here is Jake playing with a car from CARS. With Jake about to turn 2 he's picked up on some habits just from observing Mama and Daddy at home. Here he is showing what he learned from Daddy. I can't mention what Jake showed us prior to leaving the house that morning...

Working in the Yard

Sunday was a day for working in the yard. Right after church we went straight to work so Jamie could get in front of the TV to watch football. Jake agreed to help us out to get done quicker. He was a great helper!

After lots of work Jake decided to take a break right in the middle of things.



Jake would work a little bit and would look for Daddy's approval. Of course it was perfect every time.

Jake thought mulch went where ever Bailey was. We tried all day to get him to throw it in the bushes but never really got anywhere with that.

Riding from spot to spot was the highlight of the day. Gary was right there ready to hop in if Jake needed any help.

Weekend in Tennessee

Last weekend we traveled to Tennessee to meet up with the Matheny's and Colville's for the USC/Tenn. football game. Jamie, Jake, Aunt Suzanne, Emily and I watched the game from the house while everybody else headed to Neyland's stadium. It was way too late for Jake to be out and we were glad to get to spend some time with Emily. We had so much fun being visiting and playing. Can't wait until next time!!
