Chick-fil-a Bowl: Clemson vs. Auburn

New Years Eve was a big night at our house. Clemson was playing football!! Jake had to wear his jersey to match Daddy's clemson attire. We went to Pat's house to watch the 1st half and shoot 'fire'...can't get him to say fireworks. Jake's not fond of hearing the fireworks at all but watching them from inside was quit exciting.

Pointing to his treat for using the potty (...also the reason for not having on any pants).

Jake has always been nice enough to share his potty treats with Bailey.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

Since we did Christmas the week before in McCormick, we were very excited to be able to have Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at our house. It was great not having to travel with all of those gifts.
On Christmas Eve we went to church, Gary and Michelle joined us for dinner and then it was time to open up more gifts! I heard that Jake had already seen his gift from Gary and Michelle a couple weeks before (due to not sending any toys to their house when Jake stayed with them) but he was just as excited the 2nd time around.

I'm sure you can imagine that he did that over and over and over...

Matheny Christmas 2007

Tonya, John and Emily spent the week of Christmas in Kansas City so we did Christmas with the Mathenys the weekend before. Jake's favorite gifts were his clothes. He would scream and hold them up for everybody to see. Who would have guessed that?!?
Aunt Suzanne gave him a doctor kit just like hers...well almost...and he loved it. Teaching him that not everybody has to lift up his/her shirt when he listens to your heart was hard at first but he caught on soon enough.

Jake's Christmas Program

Jake's Christmas program was last night. The pictures turned out terrible but I thought I would post them anyway. I'm not sure how much he sang on stage but he was singing Jingle Bells pretty loud on the way back to the car.

The lady on the far left is holding him.Bottom row, far right, wearing a red shirt.Bottom row in a red shirt with his hands in his lap.

Weekend in Charlotte

Last weekend we traveled to Charlotte to see Aunt Tonya, Auggie Dogg, Emily, Aunt San, and Caroline. Jake was very excited and couldn't wait to see everyone.

The kids playing.Jamie and Emily getting a good nap.The Colvilles!
On our way out for the night. So sweet!!Loves to talk to Kellogg! (we don't teach him to say Kellogg but that's exactly what he calls him). This was definitely a treat to see Mickey Mouse.
We also took a trip to see Santa Clause. Jake did as good as I thought and Daddy was nice enough not to capture that part on camera. He screamed and screamed until I told him to tell Santa bye. He's never said bye and waved so fast to anybody before. Emily did great but Jake didn't care about that at all.Doesn't look so happy.Watching Emily.Emily's first time meeting Santa.

Just being Jake...

Outside playing with Bailey.
Watching cartoons with his Mickey Mouse balloon.
At the USC basketball game.
Jake thought the CAUTION sign was a toy and he wanted to carry it around the store. Of course Aunt Suzanne let him :)
Just resting.
Watching TV with Mickey.
The mall is our new favorite place to eat. Jake will actually sit the whole time as long as he can see the Carousal.
Jake has wanted to sleep with his Gamecock hat for the past few nights. It was on his head when he went to bed so I guess he was able to find a way to get comfortable and still have his hat on.
