Christmas in Greenwood

Last weekend we headed to Greenwood for Christmas with the Jesters. Friday night the family came over for dinner and gifts. We all got some great gifts but Jake will tell you his was the best!

Saturday we went to Emerald Farms and got to ride a real train!
And feed the animals...

This one goat was nice enough to keep Jake entertained.  After feeding her she managed to sneeze, poot, and burp which Jake laughed hysterically each time.  If I thought she was going to be so entertaining I would have let the camera keep rolling.

Lights at the Zoo

Tonight we finally made it to the lights at the zoo.  We've been planning on going so many times but something always came up.  Tonight we went and Jake was so excited!  We were glad that Michael, Joee, and Laney were able to come as well.  Here are some pictures from the night...

Daddy and Jake

Daddy and Jake are quite a pair. I had several things on my list and limited time to get everything so we did a one stop shop and headed to Walmart. I'm running down each aisle grabbing everything I need while Jamie and Jake walk around and keep each other entertained. I guess this was a good idea for both Jamie and Jake...yuck!
We stopped at a furniture store later on that day. I guess I look at more things because before I knew it Jamie and Jake were gone. This is where I found them. I don't know if Jake chose the USC chair or if Jamie stood up until Jake got out of the Clemson chair. Either way, I'm very proud of Jake!
We couldn't find 1 thing on my list so I ran into the grocery store and Jake decided to go in with me. When he saw Santa he grabbed his hands and said, "I want to say cheese". The place was packed and here I am taking a picture of Jake holding Santa's hand. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if everybody that was walking by wasn't giggling. That's ok because Jake made sure this is going to be the only kind of Santa he is willing to stand beside and get a picture.

Baby Jesus

Jake did a wonderful job in his Christmas program at school.  He was quite the character up on stage.  I wish I would have gotten him when he first noticed us in the crowd...thanks to his friend Davis.  He kept pointing us out for everyone to see and giggle.  Here is the video of him 'singing' his song.

Jake's Birthday in Charlotte

We went to Charlotte to celebrate Jake's birthday with a special trip to see the Clemson Tigers play the Charlotte 49ers in basketball. Clemson won at the last second so it was a good night.

During the day Aunt Suzanne and I took Jake and Emily to get pictures made. Jake took his 3rd birthday pictures and Emily got her pictures taken for fun....yeah, I guess she would say fun!

Race Cars

Last weekend we went to Charlotte. Auggie Dogg got Jake tickets to the Clemson vs. 49ers basketball game and he was nice enough to take the rest of the crew too. That was definitely the best 3rd birthday gift! Aunt Tonya and Aunt Suzanne probably came in 2nd with the race cars. We put it together last night. He played for hours then and even got up this morning and played some more while we got ready for work. I only have time to post a video of him playing with the cars but will post more pictures from the weekend later.

Thanks for the race cars Aunt Tonya and Aunt Suzanne.

USC vs. Arkansas

Last weekend was the last home game of the season for USC. The Charlotte clan didn't make it down for the game so Nana and Pop got their fill of Jamie, Alyson, and Jake.
-I know you wouldn't trade it for anything Nana and Pop - hahaha.

Friday night we went to the USC basketball game. Jake loves any kind of sport and getting to see the gamecocks made it that much better.

The next day was the football game. It was a 1pm game so tailgating was short but a great time for Jake.
