Money-Money-Money

Jake loves finding change and putting it in his 'Bobcat' bank. (Any kind of truck like that is a Bobcat). His mission last night was to find all of the change in the house. When Daddy got home Jake was fast to ask him to empty out his pockets.

After Jake takes a bath it's hard to get him to get dressed. These were taken between bath time and pajama time.

Riding his train.
Something was real funny while he was riding. It must have been a joke between him and Bailey because we certainly didn't get it. It was fun to watch though.

First Trip to the Movies

Jamie and I decided to test our luck and see if Jake would sit still IN PUBLIC for a couple of hours. Guess all we need is a big screen and a good movie to watch. Jamie had been stuck inside for a week with the flu and this was his first time getting out of the house. He said he was glad to get out but that didn't keep him from snoring through the majority of the movie. So far Jake and I have not gotten sick and we hope it stays that way! Jake had a great time at the movies and now we can't wait to go back!!

This was Jake about a mile from the theater BEFORE the movie.
He sat just like this almost the whole movie. He finally got in a chair of his own only to find out just how the chair folds in when there isn't enough weight on it. He finally popped out giggling.

Fun Times with Nana and Pop

Pop bought a new boat the other week and had to say good bye to the old one. I think Jake was more upset then Pop. He did a good job looking it over 1 last time before he had to say good bye.

I'm not quite sure where 'Big Dog' came from but it's been around as long as I can remember and Jake has decided to adopt him for his own.

A Great Night for Dancing

Jake got a guitar for Christmas and loves to play and dance to it.
The video is kind of dark but you can still see how much fun he had. The guitar is laying on the floor and he has to bend down to make it play more music. As soon as the music starts he is in dance mode! I love the hand jive he does for Daddy.

Right before we started playing with the guitar we ate some CAKE!!

Welcome Home Bailey!

Bailey has finally come home from the hospital!!
She went in Tuesday afternoon because she had been throwing up for a couple of days. X-rays showed that she had a tremendous amount of swelling in a large part of her intestines. Tests were done and confirmed that she had not had a special toy as a treat. After a couple of days of treatment in the hospital Bailey was finally ready to come home.

On her way to the Dr. Tuesday afternoon.Jake checking out Bailey's new boo boo on her leg.I missed you Bailey!

Our weekend...

FRIDAY:
Friday night Gary, Michelle and Rick came over. Jake decided to join us at the table and paint in his new Mickey Mouse book. This kept him busy for a while. He wanted to keep his coat on just in case somebody decided to go outside.
SATURDAY:
We went outside as soon as Jake woke up on Saturday morning. Here he is showing off his personal football shirt.
Our friend Adolfo took some time to swing with Jake before everyone started working.
Jake and I went to play with Gary, Michelle and Rick at the lot for a couple of hours Saturday morning but when we got back Jake was ready to help the guys move the dirt pile...one piece at a time.
Supervising...

SUNDAY:
After the service Sunday morning at church Jamie and I were waiting in the CROWDED hall to pick up Jake from his sunday school class. We were no where near the door (waiting our turn) and all of a sudden I heard Jake yelling "STINKY STINKY STINKY". He saw us standing there and he was letting us know what he had done. The lady then had to yell at us that he did in fact stinky and she was getting his bag so she could change him. We were very proud parents at that moment. EVERYBODY in the hall knew Jake's bathroom (or missed the bathroom) issues and exactly who Jake belonged to.
After lunch we all went outside to play basketball before nap time.

And the best part about this weekend was Sunday when my Valentine's Day gift was delivered. Thanks to Uncle Brian, Gary, and Jamie for all of the help.
