Today was Jake's last day at Gateway Academy and we are all sad to be leaving. Jake has great friends and awesome teachers that we will miss a lot. The person I think we are all going to miss the most is Aiden! Aiden and Jake have been inseparable since he started there. If you see one of the boys you are guaranteed to see the other one.
Right next door to Gateway is a piece of land that is being cleared to build a new restaurant. There has been many 'bobcats' (because all piece of machinary is a bobcat) within reach for a couple of days. We always stop to look at the machines on the way into school, on the way out of school, and even through the windows inside school. The other day Jake and I decided to actually go over to where to bobcats were to look at them. While we were standing there, a guy working on site walked over to Jake and asked if he wanted to get inside the 'bobcat'. Jake literally almost jumped in the guys arms! Here is some video of what Jake got to do. Daddy and Gary were very jealous when Jake came home and showed them what he got to ride.

Football Season is here!!
Jake was lucky enough to be able to tailgate for the 1st football game. The game was on a Thursday night so that also meant getting to miss some school. Here are a few pictures from his time with Nana, Pop, and Aunt Suzanne.
Nana feeding the baby bird.
Mickey Mouse must be on!
Who knew that was a pop tart holder?? ..yuck!

The Big 3-0!
Last weekend I turned a year older! None of our friends, and especially Jamie, were going to let this birthday go by without making it a big deal (and that's because they still have a while before they turn 30).
Mike's turn is coming up soon so I didn't hear too much from him :) We had some of our friends from the neighborhood and family over for dinner.
Our awesome friends. Where are you Linda??
And our awesome family! (Miss you Brian!)
Jake thinks we are singing Happy Birthday to him!
Looks like I'm actually helping Jake blow out the candle.
The next night Jamie and Jake took me to Outback for a special dinner.

Jake enjoying my birthday more then I was. (with Sprite of course)

Update on Baby Dylan
Many of you have asked how Dylan was doing after his last health scare. He's 4 1/2 months, 15 pounds, and doing GREAT! He's trying to roll over but hasn't quite figured it out. We are all so thankful that he is happy, healthy, and AT HOME!! Thanks for all of your prayers for Dylan and his family.

Papa turned 80 this year and you know we had to throw him a party! We had a great day playing outside and riding on the tractor.

Beach with the Jesters
We spent last weekend at the beach with the Jesters. On the ride there, Jake, Tiger, and Bear all watched Toy Story.
Friday night we stopped at the outlets for a little shopping before it was time to go to bed. Jake spotted the 'bobcat' 1st thing and had to ride it.
We also saw Bob the Builder! That was a great surprise.
Saturday morning we got up and went to Myrtle Waves. Jake loves playing in the water so this was the perfect place. Here he is taking a break.
That afternoon we went to the beach. This year was definitely better than the others because he was older and could play and do whatever he wanted to. He really loved running around with the boys and of course, playing football!
On the way to eat a great seafood meal. Jake's favorite part was the 'ooohhh, delicious' chocolate pudding.

Kaleb and Jacob loved it when Jake provided the entertainment in the car.
We couldn't leave the beach without buying a toy and Jake found it...a 'bobcat'. Always the perfect toy!

Sunday went had some things to do around town and one stop was to the mall. Jake loves riding the Cwenson Tiger so we made a stop there before the other stores opened.
