USC vs. UAB Football Weekend

Last weekend was another great weekend for football. The weather was great and so was the time we all spent together. It was great having Brian and Mallory there this week but we missed Tonya and John!
Saturday morning Aunt Suzanne, Jake and I went shopping. Our first stop was Jewelry Warehouse looking for some new USC and Clemson gear. Jake was quick to find the football uniform and helmet. I guess we know what Jake is going to be for Halloween!
We did not buy this but it was funny watching him in the store with this on.
The next stop was to Target and the helmet was NOT going to come off just because we were in public at another store. At least this was Jake and not Jamie.

Emily wasn't going to let a little thing like her mama and daddy not coming for the weekend stop her from still coming to cheer on the gamecocks. Like always, we were so excited to see Emily.
Jake and Emily stayed together the whole time. It's so much fun watching Emily be around Jake trying to do the same thing that he does. This weekend we brought Jake's motorcycle and both of the kids loved it. Emily used her stroller to race Jake up the street.

Bailey spent the weekend with Cody and Jake was really excited to see her when we got back. Here is Jake spending some quality time with Bailey before they went to bed. They are definitely best friends!

USC vs. Wofford

Last weekend was a great weekend. We got to tailgate and the weather was so nice. What a difference a week makes!

FRIDAY was Pop's birthday. I don't really know how many times Jake sang Happy Birthday to Pop but it was definitely a lot. Jake went downtown early that afternoon with Nana, Pop, and Aunt Suzanne. When Jamie and I made it down there, Jake was outside playing with his friends.
Jake always has the best setup at the camper. Here is Jake watching Mickey Mouse before it's time to go to bed.

SATURDAY Aunt Suzanne and I went to Tot Trade. We ended up shopping for hours and I didn't even hear a peep out of Suzanne. We also did a little Gamecock shopping while we were out. We were gone over 3 hours and if any of you know Suzanne that was not normal for her. Jamie kept calling her asking if she was ok because he knows she doesn't like that kind of stuff. She loved it and she'll even tell you that! When we got back Jake was dressed and as you can see I did not dress him. We was in his baseball shirt, instead of his gamecock shirt, but no complaints from me since I didn't have to do it. While we were out we got a new hat for Jake. It's a youth hat but that just means he has room to grow.

SUNDAY was a very relaxing day and another day of great weather. Nana and Pop came to our house for a while after dropping off the camper. Jake got to show them his new bed and the upstairs to his bed. After playing for a while in Jake's room it was time for Nana and Pop to go home. Everybody then settled into their spot for the afternoon and either watched football or took a nap. Later on that afternoon Jake heard the ice cream truck and he was out the door. Faith and Ryan came over and got some ice cream too. Not too long after that some of our other neighbors joined us for a while.

USC vs. Georgia

USC played Georgia Saturday night. The outcome was not a win but at least the score stayed close. Too bad the gamecocks didn't use just one of those many chances to win. What is the line we always use...wait until next year!!
