Christmas in Greenwood

Last weekend we headed to Greenwood for Christmas with the Jesters. Friday night the family came over for dinner and gifts. We all got some great gifts but Jake will tell you his was the best!

New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Never too many 'bobcats'
BIG Mickey Mouse
Heading outside to play football

Saturday we went to Emerald Farms and got to ride a real train!
And feed the animals...

This one goat was nice enough to keep Jake entertained.  After feeding her she managed to sneeze, poot, and burp which Jake laughed hysterically each time.  If I thought she was going to be so entertaining I would have let the camera keep rolling.

Lights at the Zoo

Tonight we finally made it to the lights at the zoo.  We've been planning on going so many times but something always came up.  Tonight we went and Jake was so excited!  We were glad that Michael, Joee, and Laney were able to come as well.  Here are some pictures from the night...

Daddy and Jake

Daddy and Jake are quite a pair. I had several things on my list and limited time to get everything so we did a one stop shop and headed to Walmart. I'm running down each aisle grabbing everything I need while Jamie and Jake walk around and keep each other entertained. I guess this was a good idea for both Jamie and Jake...yuck!
We stopped at a furniture store later on that day. I guess I look at more things because before I knew it Jamie and Jake were gone. This is where I found them. I don't know if Jake chose the USC chair or if Jamie stood up until Jake got out of the Clemson chair. Either way, I'm very proud of Jake!
We couldn't find 1 thing on my list so I ran into the grocery store and Jake decided to go in with me. When he saw Santa he grabbed his hands and said, "I want to say cheese". The place was packed and here I am taking a picture of Jake holding Santa's hand. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if everybody that was walking by wasn't giggling. That's ok because Jake made sure this is going to be the only kind of Santa he is willing to stand beside and get a picture.

Baby Jesus

Jake did a wonderful job in his Christmas program at school.  He was quite the character up on stage.  I wish I would have gotten him when he first noticed us in the crowd...thanks to his friend Davis.  He kept pointing us out for everyone to see and giggle.  Here is the video of him 'singing' his song.
