Jake...

Having fun with Aunt Suzanne. The fun part about having a kid...getting them to do anything. Jake has had lemons before but this one must have hit the right spot!Just playing around...

Golfing with Daddy

Jamie and Jake took the afternoon on Friday to play a round of golf. It was hot, they walked the course and Jake drank all of the water! I am extremely proud of Jamie for not only taking the camera but actually using it.Could he be looking for Daddy's ball??
After Jake decided he loves to play golf and Jamie decided he loves to play golf with Jake, we went out and bought Jake a set of 'real' clubs. I'm sure you'll get to see those on a different post!

Happy Birthday Tracy

Our friend Tracy turns 50 this weekend. We celebrated during lunch at work today. Suzanne, Jake and Dylan joined us too.

What a fun weekend...

Last weekend Jake and I had a great time visiting EVERYONE...

SATURDAY...
We started Saturday by meeting Jake's good friend Davis. They played on the playground for a couple of hours and had a great time. Thanks Gary for letting me steal the golf cart!

Davis, Caroline, and Jake.We really miss seeing Davis, a.k.a Davis Buddy, everyday but so glad we find the time to get together and play. One was climbing up and the other was on the way down and this was the result.Jake and DavisJumping was so much fun. Davis had the biggest jump right into the water puddle.

After playing with Davis I thought we were going home to rest but Jake had bigger plans. It included picking up Aiden and playing at Monkey Joes.

Jake and AidenJake going up...Jake coming down...Aiden going up...Aiden coming down...They think it's funny now, wait until they realize it's Diet Coke and neither one of them want it.Aiden...Jake...Aiden was the first one out but wait....Aiden didn't move out of the way fast enough.Should we be proud of them for sharing or is somebody just not waiting his turn?? You tell me!
Afterwards we went to the store to buy some toys. Jake and Aiden had their own basket and each got to fill their baskets with cool toys. After I saw how many toys actually made it into their baskets, they each were able to pick the top 5. They were both very excited with their new toys.

SUNDAY...
Last week Jake attended VBS at church so on Sunday all of the kids got up on stage to sing. We talked about how exciting singing that morning was going to be and sang all of the songs all morning. Here is a picture of all of the kids singing. If you look in the bottom right corner you will see Jake sitting in a ladies lap. Yep, looks like he is going to take after Mama.
After church Jamie went back home to study and Jake and I did a marathon of visiting family and friends. Our first stop....Grandmama and Papa's.
Jake watching Tom and Jerry (of course...)Jake is always so excited to go to Grandmama and Papa's house. Riding the tractor and playing with their dog Bailey are always at the top of the list.

We left Edgefield and headed to Greenwood. We spent time with Brian, Livi, and Kaleb at their house and then went to meet Caleigh Cobb and see Nichole, Shane and Ayden. Jake and Ayden played, Shane babysat (until he was hungry), and Nichole and I chatted. After visiting with the Cobb's we went to see Grandma Reba.
We didn't get home until after 9pm where Aunt Suzanne was waiting on us. How exciting is that??

What a fun weekend...
