The Best Birthday E-V-E-R

Tonight we celebrated birthdays for Pop, Nana, and Aunt Suzanne.

I found this Gamecock (only one on the shelf) and bought it for Daddy for Christmas the same weekend we had my grandparents 60th anniversary party at my house. When we got home I put the Gamecock in the den on the entertainment center and at that very moment the Gamecock became MINE. Daddy saw it and loved it. Later that week I decided I better find one for Daddy because we knew he would love to have one. I called every store in the Columbia area and only 1 had it and there was only 1 on the shelf...thank goodness. Daddy thinks he got the best gift!

We gave mama several (not just the little one she is holding) pampered chef dishes for entertaining. Mama thought she got the best gift!
And that leaves Aunt Suzanne....and you know Suzanne thought she got the best gift. Love at first site!

Bama and Papa Sam were in for the weekend so I think everybody got the best gift of all...TIME WITH FAMILY!!!


ONLY NANA!These kids love their Nana...Before bedtime Nana watched some Tom & Jerry with Jake and Emily.

A Day Out with Thomas

We had such an AWESOME time getting to see Thomas the Train. The weather wasn't that great but it didn't stop us from doing anything. If you have a child then this is definitely a must see!

USC Night at Chick-fil-a

Tonight was USC night at Chick-fil-a. Isaac and Jake dressed in their gamecock jerseys and were so excited to see the cow in his jersey and COCKY.

It was also Malachi's 1st birthday. Michelle treated the boys to brownies and Malachi to some ice cream. Thanks for the dessert Michelle!

Jamie: "Who are you talking to?"

Jake: "You daddy, that's your name. Charles Jamie Jester."

Jake has always told Jamie his name is Jamie Matheny Jester. We finally got him to add Charles in there and then he would always say Jamie 'Carl' Matheny Jester. Now it's Charles Jamie Jester. Wonder why this one is so hard??

Cooking Class...at home

This week we decided to have our 'cooking class' at home. Jake made pizza for dinner and it was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!

Grocery Shopping

Jake loves going grocery shopping since he can push the cart himself. Today Isaac went with us and joined Jake in the big boy club.
