USC vs. Georgia

USC played Georgia Saturday night. The outcome was not a win but at least the score stayed close. Too bad the gamecocks didn't use just one of those many chances to win. What is the line we always use...wait until next year!!

Riding in Emily and Baby Will's new stroller.Jake dressed for the Clemson game...Jake dressed for the Carolina game. Waving the Clemson flag ready for the game to start. Jake told us how to position the helmets and the hat. Daddy tried to move it and Jake let him know he didn't like that. Emily doesn't like Jake with his arm around her neck...
Emily REALLY DOESN'T like Jake's arm around her neck.
Jake...please!Finally, a picture with Jake STILL trying to get his arm around her. This is what Jake thought about Emily not sitting still for the picture.

Last Day at Gateway Academy

Today was Jake's last day at Gateway Academy and we are all sad to be leaving. Jake has great friends and awesome teachers that we will miss a lot. The person I think we are all going to miss the most is Aiden! Aiden and Jake have been inseparable since he started there. If you see one of the boys you are guaranteed to see the other one.

Right next door to Gateway is a piece of land that is being cleared to build a new restaurant. There has been many 'bobcats' (because all piece of machinary is a bobcat) within reach for a couple of days. We always stop to look at the machines on the way into school, on the way out of school, and even through the windows inside school. The other day Jake and I decided to actually go over to where to bobcats were to look at them. While we were standing there, a guy working on site walked over to Jake and asked if he wanted to get inside the 'bobcat'. Jake literally almost jumped in the guys arms! Here is some video of what Jake got to do. Daddy and Gary were very jealous when Jake came home and showed them what he got to ride.

Football Season is here!!

Jake was lucky enough to be able to tailgate for the 1st football game. The game was on a Thursday night so that also meant getting to miss some school. Here are a few pictures from his time with Nana, Pop, and Aunt Suzanne.

The Big 3-0!

Last weekend I turned a year older! None of our friends, and especially Jamie, were going to let this birthday go by without making it a big deal (and that's because they still have a while before they turn 30).
Mike's turn is coming up soon so I didn't hear too much from him :) We had some of our friends from the neighborhood and family over for dinner.

Thanks everybody for all of the great gifts!

Our awesome friends. Where are you Linda??

And our awesome family! (Miss you Brian!)

Jake thinks we are singing Happy Birthday to him!

Looks like I'm actually helping Jake blow out the candle.

Update on Baby Dylan

Many of you have asked how Dylan was doing after his last health scare. He's 4 1/2 months, 15 pounds, and doing GREAT! He's trying to roll over but hasn't quite figured it out. We are all so thankful that he is happy, healthy, and AT HOME!! Thanks for all of your prayers for Dylan and his family.

Laney's 1st Birthday

On August 24th Laney turned 1!! She had lots of people at her birthday which meant lots of great gifts. I will say that I have never seen a 1 year old enjoy the cake quite like Laney did.

Wonder what that grin is for??

HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY PAPA!

Papa turned 80 this year and you know we had to throw him a party! We had a great day playing outside and riding on the tractor.
