Happy Valentine's Day to Ms. Pat

Yesterday after work I picked up Ryan and then headed to school to get Jake. They were very excited to see each other and Jake was really excited to show Ryan his classroom.
The boys played at the house while Jamie got ready and then we headed to see Ms. Pat to give her her Valentine's from Jake.

Ms. Pat treated everybody to hamburgers and the boys were really excited about that. After we ate, Ms. Pat brought out ICE CREAM!! It didn't take Ryan long to eat his. After dinner the boys watched "Move It Move It"!

They watched part of it in the chair with cookies and chocolate milk...On the couch...And the end of it like this (minus holding the ear. that didn't last long)...

Monster Trucks!

Monster Trucks came to town and Jake really wanted to go. Everytime the commercial would come on Jake would tell us to be quiet and said he wanted to go see the Monster Trucks. I've been working late nights lately so I decided not to go. Grandpa, Uncle Brian (Jester), Kaleb, and Jacob met Jamie and Jake and all went to the show together. Jake had the best time.

Supposed to be in the bed...

The other night Jake went to bed, so I thought, and came down an hour or so later looking like this...

and this is only the front of him. I took him back upstairs to try to get at least some of it off and found the non-washable markers that he used. I'm still not sure how non-washable markers made it into the house to begin with but Jake obviously loved them. On the way to the tub I found the spot he was sitting when he was doing all of his art work. In the entrance of our room there was basically an outline of where he had been sitting. He must have had a marker in both hands and drew on the carpet all around him. By the time I found this, looking for my camera was the last thing on my mind. He has been soaked and scrubbed numerous times and the marker is still on his legs. It's fading out so hopefully by the time he wears shorts his tattoo will be gone.

Some days are just like that!

Snow Day

Today Jake was out of school due to the snow. It snowed good for a while and we were able to go out and play with some friends for a little bit. Here are some pictures ...

Jake was excited to see snow on his house. He even said there was snow on baby Will's seat :)

Visiting Will (and the rest of the Charlotte clan)

A couple of weekends ago Jake and I went to Charlotte to see everybody but Will stole the show. Jake became the master of holding Baby Will. We had to get creative just to be able to share Will with everybody else. We had a great time and counting down the days until we see them again.
