Jake has never had a window that could be rolled down while he's riding. The explorer was a 2 door and back in 1991 power windows must have been a luxury :) I didn't really think about how Jake would like to ride with the wind in his face. Well, he loves it! Here are a few pictures from the other day...
Enjoying the fresh air
As I'm taking this picture I'm telling him to put it down...and of course I can't reach it.
Could you have guessed? ...now it's gone.
A couple of turns later I looked back there and he had his shoe hanging out of the window. I didn't reach for the camera this time and just went ahead and pulled over. Now we move everything (even his shoes) out of his reach when he wants the window down.

Was That Mickey Mouse that he threw out the window?!? I hope not!
That was the blood drop doll thing that the Red Cross gives when you donate blood. Oh no...it would not have been funny at all if it were Mickey Mouse.
